Information Center
The public information center of the Springfield Interchange Project can be found in Springfield Mall next to DMV. The Information Center is staffed by VDOT employees who can answer all of your questions about the project. The Information Center is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The Information Center has:
- A model of the completed interchange.
- Large aerial photographs of Springfield detailing how the interchange will impact the area.
- Literature about the project.
- A computer for guests to use to review all aspects of the project along with links to other VDOT web sites.
- Copies of the project video.
- Aerial photographs showing how the interchange has grown in the last 40 years.
- Highway road maps and travel guides from Virginia and most other states.

The Connector Store offers personalized public transit services. It has recently moved from inside the Springfield Interchange Information Center to inside the Franconia-Springfield Metro Station at 6880 Frontier Drive.
