Sign up for the Email Alert program for instant updates on the Springfield Interchange Improvement Project.

Here's how it works. Submit your email address below and we will enter it into our database. (Your email address will never be used for any other purpose and will not be given to outside sources.) When there's a lane closure or a major traffic problem in the interchange, you'll get the information as soon as possible.

You'll receive lane and ramp closure information and instant alerts about major traffic problems in the interchange.

Construction Updates and Commuter Options

In addition to traffic alerts and lane closures, you'll receive information on new or updated commuter options to avoid the delays. You'll also have the chance to answer surveys and give input on new transit ideas and services.

Both programs are free and simply require you to fill out the fields below. You can request your name be removed from the program at any time.

Terms and Conditions:

1. VDOT will attempt to post information about potential traffic hazards, accidents and construction delays as information becomes available. However, timeliness and accuracy of email alerts cannot be guaranteed because of the unpredictable nature of the incidents and construction.
2. VDOT will not release the list of email addresses to any outside party. The addresses will be used in accordance with the terms explained above.
3. VDOT can not be held responsible for email addresses that are added to the list without the consent of the addressee. If you receive an e-mail from VDOT without your permission, you can remove yourself from the list by emailing the us at this unsubscribe email address. Our mailing list will automatically remove your email from the list.
